The primary thing that candidates must understand is that they must meet all requirements before applying. The CA Intermediate eligibility criteria 2023 were officially prescribed by ICAI. Another key point is that registration for CA Intermediate is open to all ages. It’s important to realize here that candidates have two options. Either the CA Foundation exam must have been passed, or the candidate must have a bachelor's or master's degree with over 55% to be eligible to register for the CA intermediate. Another key point is that the option of provisional enrollment in the CA Intermediate is also available to students who are in their final year of college studies.

2023 CA Intermediate Registration - The Different Pathways
There are two ways that individuals can enroll in the CA Intermediate through ICAI, as has been previously mentioned. The first is referred to as the "direct entry" path, while the second is called the "foundation" path. First, let's compare the two options and see which one makes more sense.
- The foundation route
First, there's the Foundation Route. As a matter of fact, the Chartered Accountancy program at ICAI is broken down into three stages: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. Candidates who have passed CA Foundation and are interested in registering for CA Intermediate 2023 can do so now. Any level of education, including a bachelor's and master's, is acceptable for such positions.
- The direct entry route
As has been mentioned before, the candidates who have already earned a bachelor's degree or higher, or who are in their final year of study, are fulfilling the CA intermediate eligibility requirement to enroll in the CA Intermediate program via the Direct Entry Route. As a result, those who choose this path do not have to register for or pass the CA Foundation exam to proceed. Bypassing the CA Foundation exam, they are now qualified to take the CA Intermediate exam.
